Side mount level switches operate based on non-contact magnetic float and reed switch technology and are actuated by a rise or fall in fluid levels. Non-contact sensors offer broad fluid compatibility and are ideal for operations involving chemicals or high-temperature fluids. Designed for single point tank monitoring.
Top Mounted Magnetic Level Switch is normally a simple device that monitors the liquid level in a tank and sends a trip signal to another device such as a Pump to protect it. These Level Switches are used for Pump protection, Cooling Circuit protection, high & low level alarm and general level monitoring.
The Cable Float Level Switch is a structured by using either micro switches, proximity switches or reed switches to control the contact. Its user-friendly design is ideal for level measurement. The switches will transmit an ON or OFF contact signal output when the float rises and turns upwards. The switch contains a metal ball that can slide as the float position changes.
Based on buoyancy principle, the level switch is consists of Switch Assembly, Wire Rope with Spring Assembly and displacer suspended on spring. Displacer having more density than the process liquid is used. Spring selection is determined by the weight of the displacer. When level rises the displacer is submerged as per the design consideration and amount of weight equal to the weight of process liquid is displaced.
